◈ Purpose of use
It is a transformer (Scott Connection Transformer)
used by converting three-phase power into a single-
phase large capacity load. It is a special transformer
used to reduce three-phase imbalance that occurs
when using a single-phase load.

It is used to resolve three-phase imbalance during
single-phase large capacity loads in three-phase power
sources such as AC electric railways, electric furnaces,

MULTIPHASE TRANSFORMER
